Chase Keller wanted to tell the media that he is in fact taking his talents to the VHLM, but he also wanted them to know he wasn't blind. Reports earlier came out that he was blind, but he quickly refuted these claims. Keller says he has very good sight and 20/20 hindsight as well. Given that the high profile player is trying to get his hockey career started on the right foot, he mentioned he also can hear. Although his parents said when he was younger he had selective hearing when he heard his full name. Keller is a British Columbia native and grew up in one of the most remote locations in Canada. Pleasant Camp, B.C. is mostly home to a few fisherman and maybe some people who got lost on their way to Alaska. Hockey was his passion from day one and the entire town is cheering him on; all 12 of them!
