Banackock 8,141
1. Federov growing tired of waiting Aleksei Federov, of the Seattle Bears, only has 27 points through 52 games played this season. Coming into the league and heading to the Seattle Bears, he knew it was going to be difficult to fully take off due to the teams current position and rebuilding phase but he never expected it to be quite like this. Last year was a strong struggle and this year doesn't seem to be a whole lot different. Being a player from Banackock's agency, he's actually on pace to potentially be the bets player coming out of said agency, but hasn't put up any sort of statistic to actually prove this statement as being true. Now sitting at 400 TPE, the young defender is about to enter his final season in his "rookie phase" of his career and will next move onto his prime. It's time to get the blue-line gem going or his career won't be as great as he had hoped. With Seattle bringing up some youth next season, time will tell to see if it's enough. 2. Seattle and What's going on, man? Seattle is and was and pretty much has always been in a tricky section. For a while, things seemed great. Rebuild was done and the team was rolling. We attracted the odd FA and contended each season. Always came close, but never close enough. We fell, we were surrounded by silly nonsense created by the fake news people of thy league and it really hit the team hard. With some frustrating and crazy retirements, it really but the last bullet into the Bear. Podarok fucks the team over, leaves the league and moves on - hanging up the skates and popping the last cap into the Bears. Now, the Bears are into a hard rebuild and things seem to be going okay. @Laflamme seemed to turn out to be a huge steal but I always sort of believed he would be one - which is why I took him. No knocks to the other guys, but he's been the GO TO guy so far for us. @NUCK kicks around and updates - so that makes me happy. He may not be a TPE whore, but as long as he kicks around, updates and contributes the odd time - I'm a happy GM. I go a few years back with Nuck and have always enjoyed any sort of interaction. @Wikiplaysgames is a great guy and I know he's got potential. He was drafted low - if not mistaken, was a BPA pick. He turned out to be active and chats weekly with us in the LR or via PM. Just started a new job, but should be slowing down soon. I don't expect him to be a 800 TPE star, but a good, loyal depth player is what I would like if so. 3. GM Blake Campbell + Agency, it's a struggle to maintain. When it comes to this position, I'm a try hard. This season is an exception as it's tough to do lines or the whole ten yards when your team is garbage. However, I've been heavy in the trade talks and looking at options and actually started some scouting prior to the season starting. The issue being is that I don't think I've fully enjoyed a PLAYER career since my first player - Blake Campbell (goalie). Even then, it got cut short due to the large amounts of goalies in the league. Blake Campbell - Pretty much forced into retirement due to too many goalies. Sven Wolf (Goalie) - Retired at around 180-210 TPE as Seattle needed a Centre. Sven Wolf (Center) - Retired due to GM trade rules - Seattle was rebuilding. Mattias Forsberg (Centre - active) - SEA needs a center - sometimes hard to come by. Currently around 200 the. Aleksei Federov (Defense - Active) - Defense are important and I knew he'd be good. Now my problem with Federov is that he's a great young man. On any competing or half decent team, he'd likely be wrecking the league, but here he sits with 400 the and only 27 points through 52 games. Another career likely could be going down the drain because of the GM role. Don't get me wrong, no regrets with the GM role. Have enjoyed it 110% the entire time and have no intentions of stepping down. I so badly want a cup here in Seattle and love the quality of guys we generally have in the LR. Just tough sacrificing your player and enjoyment with it due to the GMing role. PEACE. 6 TPE for Forsberg Laflamme 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/41887-claimed-3-things-1/ Share on other sites
