John Locke is on fire (Remix)

After listening to Will Griggs is on fire for solid 30 minutes, a sudden urge to create something hit me and since I´m always looking for ways to add some culture into VHL, I decided to write a little poem. It´s heavily influenced by Will Griggs is on fire.

 

John Locke is always scoring, four games in row now.

The American beast

From California to Quebec

To play for black and white

36 goals this season

He is on the plane to Davos

When he scores the game winner

Everybody will sing and dance

 

He will score goals

John will score some goals

He will score goals

He will score them all

He will score goals

John will score more and more

He will score goals

He will score goals

I was thinking of maybe performing this at some point, but I´m not a huge fan of performing in front of people. Before some funny guy says: We have seen that. No, it´s different on ice for some reason,  when you are on the ice people are watching sure, but at the same time they are not really, at least not all eyes on you all the time like they are if you are on stage alone or in front of a group.  Easily the worst moments in school for example where those assignments where you had to speak in front of everybody, hated those with passion.
