After survivor back-to-back must-win games to take the series against the Titans, the Dynamo were looking to ride the momentum and get off to a strong start against the Reign in the Conference Finals. The well-rested Reign put a stop to that, however, putting the Dynamo in a quick 0-2 hole. Not ready to go down quite yet, the Dynamo evened up the series winning the next two in Davos.

Markus King has performed remarkably well for the Reign, shutting down the Davos offense in the first three games. In Game 3, Rhett DeGrath was just a little bit better, as the veteran held on through two overtimes waiting on the Dynamo offense to score. It was Diana Maxwell who finally closed out the game, recording her first goal of the series on her game-leading 13th shot of the night.

The Dynamo were finally able to break King down a bit in Game 4, scoring four times. Rusty Trombone had two goals and an assist, earning first star honors. The power play, which has struggled in the playoffs thus far, clicked in this game for the Dynamo, as they converted on three of seven chances.
