The last ride

For Pietro Maximoff the S56 VHL Playoffs are his last ride. The time went by fast as Maximoff transformed from just a speedy guy to a great sniper in the VHL (well, he also has the most shots missed I think). After trading for his rights Maximoff quickly signed with Quebec, realizing that was probably the shortest route to the finals and he was right. In the finals he has a last chance to show his worth to the VHL fans. And while Lukas Mller is the true hero of the Quebec City Meute, Maximoff does play an important role fort he franchise, having put up 15 points in eleven games. After a slow first round where Maximoff hardly had any points, he exploded in the Davos series, with a 5 point game in a 6-2 win over the HC Davos Dynamo. That win was an important one for the Meute as they equalized with Davos at that point. Now we are heading into game six and the Meute are one win away from winning it all. Will the last career game for Maximoff end in tears of joy or tears of glory. We are one or two games away from finding out.
