Zamora Visits New York

Making the most of one of his only free weekends, veteran forward Felix Zamora met up with a few teammates and took a short flight south to New York City.  What would be the reason for such an impromptu trip to a rivals’ hometown?  ”The Stadium Series was at Yankee Stadium and we just had to check it out!” Zamora explained to reporters.  ”A few of the Devils players had mentioned it to us in passing when we saw them over at JFK a few weeks ago.  We were honored to be invited, so why wouldn’t we check it out?”

 

Felix, along with teammates Skylar Rift and the Valiq brothers, took the short journey down to The Big Apple and made a weekend out of it.  Some of the festivities included spending the day in Manhattan and checking out the nightlife.  ”The weekend ended with an amazing experience at Yankee Stadium,” Rift added to Zamora’s comments.  After the Devils broke out to an early 3-1 lead, the Rangers scored six unanswered goals en route to a seemingly easy win.
