Corco 1,237
Iron Eagles Still Getting Asses Kicked by Cologne The Cologne Express continue to be a thorn in the side of the Vasteras Iron Eagles this season. VASTERAS, Sweden - For the fourth straight time this season, the Cologne Express have handily defeated the Vasteras Iron Eagles, this time by a score of 3-0. Being shut-out is starting to become a trend in Cologne/Vasteras games this season, as Evgeni Chekhov has registered three shutouts so far against Vasteras, as well as only allowing one goal in four games played. In total, the Express have outscored the Iron Eagles 10-1 in the four games the two teams have played. For whatever reason, the Iron Eagles have been able to stick with every VHL team this season, with the exception of the Express. Ironically, the team that which the Iron Eagles are currently beating out for the final playoff spot in the European Conference are the ones that are destroying Vasteras the most. With Cologne possibly selling, these are the games that Vasteras needs to be winning in order to ensure themselves a playoff spot.
