Gretz cooling down, Brodeur not heating up

Shawn Gretzky started out and led the VHL in points for a short period of time and he was hovering around as well but in recent times he has cooled off completely. Gretz still has 40 goals on the season and 51 assists for 91 points and he looks to break the 100 point barrier once again this season. This would be the 2nd season in a row Gretz would break 100 points and in every season Gretz has broke at least 60 points.

 

Brodeur on the other hand has not had the same success he had as a rookie with Cologne when he posted a .920 save percentage. This season Brodeur won't crack 10 wins but has a outside chance of getting to .900 which would be pretty good by my books considering he has faced almost 2000 shots in just 60 games. This is a average of 32 shots per game which is a lot of rubber and really does wear a goalie out.
