It's playoffs time! Before the season you had told me we would end the season on a 34 game winning streak, I would have laughed in your face, but here we are. It feels amazing to be on such a great, well-rounded team, and I believe we will have no issue in securing a cup for Yukon. We have 14 straight games of scoring at least 4 goals and 21 straight in allowing less than 4 goals. We've been completely dominant on both sides of the ice. On a personal level, I think I did alright for my first true season of ice hockey. I would have liked to reach a 1 point per game average, but 58 total isn't bad, and I'll take winning over personal achievements any day of the week. I do think my shot wasn't very great this season. Netting only 8.43% as a forward is not a recipe for long-term success, so I hope to improve upon that next season. I must say I am a bit surprised at how much more physical the game was than I expected. If I can deliver more hits than I take, then I feel like I am adapting well. We'll be losing some key talent next season to the VHL but I'm ready to take my game to the next level and lead this franchise to perpetual greatness!
