TheLastOlympian07 2,388 Posted April 13, 2018 Share Posted April 13, 2018 New York Americans Receive: Season 52 Helsinki 3rd Round Pick Helsinki Titans Receive: Pete Stockton What Went Down: The Titans were on a run for the 3rd and final playoff spot in the Euro so they made a move for depth on the wings and took a chance on Pete Stockton. Stockton proved to be to be a very fine addition playing in 35 games, scoring 19 goals and assisting on 10 goals for 29 points. It was unfortunate but the Titans playoff push came up a little short as they finished less than 10 points out of the final spot. Pete Stockton ended up leaving after these 35 games back to New York after the season as a free agent. The Americans on the other hand never used the draft pick as it seemed they didn't get it? Maybe it was traded back to the Titans as compensation for signing Stockton back as a free agent. Even if it was used, the player wouldn't have panned out in the VHL.
