Daniel 565
After the rather unfortunate circumstances in which his season began, with an infuriatingly long stretch as the team's backup for a reason that still remains a mystery to all, the chance provided to rookie goaltender Arvid Aamo of the Oslo Storm to show what he can do has been an opportunity that he has grasped with both hands. In the 39 games that he has started for the Storm in his run in net so far, Aamo has demonstrated his strong level talent by ranking in the top 3 league wide in all major goalie statistics, with the second best save percentage and a top 3 wins ranking despite having nearly 30 less starts than the majority of his competitors. Aamo has been a big part of the strong run of form we've seen from the team of late and it's undeniable that he's really carried his weight in helping the team do as well as it has. Now that his faith and effort has been rewarded with the chance to really play to his strengths and show exactly what he can do as a starting goaltender, it seems like the only was is up for Arvid Aamo, and the young Norwegian will be hopeful that his good run of form is something that will have caught the eyes of VHL GMs who could be looking at him as a potential franchise goaltender of the future come draft day.
