AW13 198
Hello, my name is Ron Haynes with the Vegas Sports Daily and I am here with Las Vegas Aces Center Oleksiy Revchenko talking about this season and the upcoming draft. RH: Hello Oleksiy, how are you? OR: Hello Ron, I am doing great thank you. RH: How has your season been? What do you think of your team? OR: This team is solid, I love the guys I play with. I think we will see better results as the season goes forward but for now, we are not very consistent. We need to show consistency in our play to win more games. We have the talent and we just need to put it all together. RH: The VHL draft is around the corner, how are you preparing? OR: Yes I know, very exciting times indeed. I am just working at my game, trying to get a little better every game, every practice and be the best center in the league. I need to work on a few things but so far like the progress we are making. I am trying to become more well rounded to show teams I am a great player. RH: Experts predict you in between a first and second round pick, what are your thoughts? OR: I have not looked too much into it but going to the end of the first round would put me in the end with the better teams which is always good for a chance at a championship. I don't care where I am drafted, I just want to play hockey but every player wants a championship of course! RH: Last and most important question. Any good Ukrainian food in Las Vegas? OR: There are a few spots that serve good Eastern European food and I enjoy them but nothing like mother's cooking back home. Las Vegas is great for food though, can get a cheap prime rib or lobster at some of these places which is nice. It is a very touristy town which is cool because you can see new stuff all the time. Very different from Dnipro back home. Ha ha. Thanks, everyone, this has been Ron Haynes with Vegas Sports Daily with exciting young prospect Oleksiy Revchenko looking to help Vegas achieve great things in the VHLM this season and hoping to achieve greatness in the VHL in the not so distant future.
