VHL draft to provide a surplus of talent

The S62 VHL is set to be one of the most talented draft classes ever. Let's see how things shake up for the teams and players

 

This is the draft where teams are gonna get an absolute stud forward no matter where they pick. Leading the class is Leph Twinger by a LARGE margin with 311 TPE. He's expected to go first overall to the Riga Reign. Not far behind Twinger are Vesto Slipher and Rauno Palo to round out the top 3. This class is interesting in the sense that you really can't go wrong with any froward in this draft. They're all active and even Shawn Mendes at 91 TPE still lights the lamp pretty often. This draft is definitely forward oriented and a few teams will be presently surprised with their Haul come draft day.

 

On defense you have 5 good players to choose from who can all make an impact. Leading off the pack with 203 TPE, you have Maxim Kovalchuk who is expected to go mid first round and WILL make an impact on the team that chooses him. The next 3 defensemen are all compacted together, with Shawn Glade somehow narrowly edging out Lando Baxter and Dylan Nguyen. It'll be a tossup to see which order those three go in, but it would not be surprising to see them all picked in a row at the draft. Last but not least, Cayden Saint has fallen quite a bit but is still expected to within the second round and he still isn't a bad choice at 115 TPE. Other defensemen after that are either inactive or don't really earn enough weekly TPE to be in contention for second round.

 

In net your options are very limited. There's only one goalie worth taking in the draft and that's Johnny Havenk Carison. After that it's a crap shoot
