"not" Stevedangle: We've got the Aces GM Jacobaa1, SO tell us how did you ge the job as GM of this team?

 

Me: Well a couple weeks back I was approached by the commish to take over the team and i was like hell yeah when can i start?

 

So just to clarify you've never had any General manager experience at all in this league right?

 

Nope ive just played Gm mode in the good ol' NHL games so uh hardly any experience but hey its gone well so far i'd say we had a pretty good draft and my assistant GM has been amazing.

 

Ah yes Jubo are you able to tell us why you chose him over other people?

 

 

Well.. besides the fact I had no other options it didn't really matter he was my first choice throughout the whole process, I saw the exact same thing i was going through so i figured why not so we can both learn how to do this then we can both go on to do great things for this league maybe he'll go out one day and land his own spot as a GM or we can move up to the VHL and work together. Considering he's so new to this he still has so much potential, within the short time hes been here hes landed us a 2nd line center (hes learned how to do the lines for me).  If he keeps this up he'll have a spot in any organization for sure.

 

We've noticed your second defensive pair only has one man on it care to comment on that?

 

Well i dont really think theres much to comment on obviously we are trying to fill that gap and judging by the way talks are going i think we'll have our man soon and maybe some extra help up front.

 

Us at the ste.. uhhh NOTstevedangle podcast were talking about your goalie prospect pepper. Do you expect to make him the starting goalie?

 

Well as of right now There are 4 goalies on the roster and Pepper is from Las Vegas and he seems to be the best of the 4 and obviously we'll try him as the starter if he does good we keep him there if he doesnt.. well were shit outta luck eh?

 

Hey! this is a family podcast no swearing... anyway you just picked up another center in  Scott Shawinganen what role will he be playing on your roster? also whats with the hefty contract? 1.75 million for the season?

 

Honestly right now i see him as our second line center i don't see him falling out of that position he seems like he has the potential to become first line center but, He'll have to work to get that position and i mean work hard. The contract was to make sure he came to Vegas we have one of his close friends on the team but I wasn't sure if that would be enough so i offered him that to ensure he'd be an Ace.

 

What are you thoughts on the Halifax 21's coming into this season?

 

Well, I'm not the best at predictions but i think at the very least they'll be entertaining to watch I know they're GM is eager to get into the season as are the wrest of us but I think he may have more pressure on him due to where the franchise is and the fact they're an expansion team. And before you ask I don't mind the name I understand why they called it and its fine I just want to see there logo..

Again, beautiful podcast, just awesome. I do prefer the text changes though, and plus why u no interview me? I was the first overall pick, (probably the next Daigle but whatevs). Also "Hey, this is a family podcast, no swearing" is hilarious! You should make this an actual podcast, that would be awesome!
