Johnny Havenk Carison - The Best or The Worst? [1/2]

When looking at the goaltenders in the VHL we see some that are worthy of legend status, some that are just Superstar tier, and some that are just bums that play like bots. But when we look at the stormfront of rookie players, we see one goaltender that peaks out among all the rest and that goaltender is... Johnny Carison. 

 

The Best or The Worst? - Episode One

 

Looking back at the previous season in the VHLM, we see that at the time there was a team that was absolutely dominating the league and was almost the Champs (More about that later.) that team being the Yukon Rush. Due to Yukon's solid scoring offense, they were a powerhouse that could be stopped but that's not all they had for they also had Johnny who at the time was a killer goalie that was the reasoning for why Yukon didn't drop many games or why they had so much hype going behind them so pretty much he was the icing on the cake that brought a hard hook to anyone who opposed the Rush.

 

 

That I will definitely try to do, I may not legally be able to lead the team but in the case of off the ice and in practice it's gonna be a case of helping everyone get into the swing of things. I may be a rookie but I'm definitely on the same knowledge wave as most vets are. ~ Johnny Carison when being asked will he lead the Yukon Rush to a Founder's Cup victory 

Things would ride finely for Johnny and the Rush until the playoffs happened... In the playoffs, Johnny, Yukon's top goalie was nowhere to be found. Everyone was in confusion about why Johnny hadn't touched ice for the last few games and this would go on until the Founders Cup Series where Yukon would lose. Why did it happen? I'll tell you. Apparently, at the time of the Playoffs, Yukon got an unexpected GM change that couldn't be more badly timed that ended up resulting in the new GM not having much knowledge of what was going on at the time so this whole ordeal between the management and the team would end up starting a double-headed controversy around not only why Johnny wasn't played at all during playoffs but also how the Old GM  pretty much gave the team the biggest "Fuck You" ever by not only leaving the team mid run but also by giving the New GM the casting of blame by giving the team off and not giving him a rundown about what's popping. Of course, this isn't at all how things went and this was just the media trying to make bogus headlines but regardless fans and players were still upset at the fact that a team that was dominating during the regular season ended up losing the title due to bad subs but no one took it harder than Johnny himself...

After the disappointing season that was S61, Johnny would end up getting draft at #3 by Toronto. Toronto being the struggling team it needs someone at the goalie spot to at least ease up on the scoring and so far Johnny has been doing relatively average so far this year. With a record of 18 - 30 - 4 and a  0.909% Save Rate, it's honestly debatable if Cari is either a bust that had good luck and just so happened to be carried by a good team in the VHLM or if it's just the Legion's lackluster play that just can't get the job done, either way, Johnny's rookie season hasn't been all that spectacular. So with that being said, we come to the decision of if Johnny is The Best or The Worst and let's see the verdict...

Your current stats and the Legion's are definitely not on you. This season is still a rebuilding year with not a ton of offensive support. We have good defense and you in net, but offense is mostly McKnight and Davis carrying the way at the moment.

 

@Donno100 Also if you want to, you can save this for next week because there is a special PT going on right now that gives you 10 uncapped on top of the 6 regular.

You just have to write about another player and claim that player in that thread.
