monkeywrench15 220
Jesse Wilson is not from the east coast or even from the country of the united states. that being said this past week he braced for a storm that was set to hit the east coast in an entirely different way. currently in ottawa with the lynx, Wilson decided he would pull his resources together and start a bit of a fund collection for the people of the coast. Initially wilson set out his goal to be 10,000 from people like you and I, but that changed. For every dollar raised Jesse would match it. People using gofundme chipped in and the hockey community showed once again that they love to help in times of need. Humboldt was a good example of what hockey communities can do to help those in need. Wilson raised a total of $623,000 through the community, people of ottawa, friends, family and athletes from the area. Wilson tolled it altogether with his contribution and 1.246 million will go to supplies needed to help those in dire need of them right away. diamond_ace 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/53329-wilson-raises-hurricane-relief-funds/ Share on other sites
