Tyler 885
The stage is set for one of the better finals in recent memory. A few weeks ago someone wrote an article saying we need to sim ahead to the cup finals already because Calgary and Quebec were clearly dominant. Although both routes to the finals were not as easy as once imagined, it is indeed those two teams fighting it out. It's an all Canadian finals and it should be a classic. I've said over the weeks since the article that Calgary will be heavy favourites. They are in the finals for the second straight season and they look to just be an all around upgraded version of their last team. With veterans like Bogdanovic in their final seasons its yet to be seen what they can do next year. It is, I think, of the utmost importance for them to win this season. It will all fall on the shoulders of Norris Stopko. If he plays up to his potential they should win it in 5 games, but if he struggles all bets are off. Quebec's key factor in this series to me is Jeff Gow who was great in the playoffs last year for Davos. If he is playing at a high level I think the rest falls in to place for the Meute. In the end though, there's just too much elite talent on Calgary and at key positions for them not to come out on top. I'm saying Calgary in six games. Enorama 2,039
VHLM finals are all Canadian too... Speaking of rigged, where are all the simmers from? Coincidence? I think not.
