Season 63 saw the Helsinki Titans season play out as expected. The rebuilding franchise did what they needed to build chemistry and provide a fresh beginning for many of its new members. Helsinki finished the campaign in 6th; 14 points out of the playoffs. Season 64 should bring accelerated success for Helsinki whose core improved across the table and will look to call up prior drafted players to strengthen their roster depth. Helsinki should also be active on the trade front now that they have a solid core to expand upon.

For Julian Borwinn, the season was a personal success resulting in the rookie scoring title. Through 72 games the 3rd overall pick amassed 42 goals and 42 assists for 84 points edging out teammate Vaydar Odinsson who had 82 points. Borwinn has been working on several aspects of his game. Knowing he has the ability to find the back of the net he worked on improving his skill set adding extra time to skating ability, puck handling, passing, defense and strength. At his current pace Borwinn looks to be one of the leagues most dangerous players for seasons to come. Helsinki fans, players and management ( @Quik ) have become antsy while waiting for the puck to drop on the new season.
