McWolf 3,116
Halifax, NS - Joining the Victory Hockey League Minors in Season 62, the Halifax 21st enjoyed some success for the past 2 seasons. Following a pretty generous Expansion Draft, the team, led by rookie General Manager Shawn Glade, made the Founder's Cup Finals in their very first year of existence. Last season still saw the 21st as a serious cup contender, but their efforts were once again in vain, as they made an early exit from the playoffs, losing in the semi-finals. After two successful years at the helm of the most recent expansion team in both levels of VHL, Glade got what he deserved; he got promoted to the role of General Manager for the HC Davos of the VHL. Season 64 will be the first team's season under new management. Anthony Rogers joins the team as the new General Manager and looks forward to continue where Glade left off. The short history of the 21st has been a successful one and the new management aims at pursuing the winning tradition in Halifax. This new edition of the 21st will be led, for a third and last season, by returning Nathan MacKinnon, Nikita Flipachyev and Tyler Smith. Undrafted prospect John Madden also returns as the team's most promising players. Bolt Vanderhuge, Viktor Kozlov, Teegan Glover and Hadrian Melborn highlight the crop of new 21st players that will try to achieve what the past editions of the team couldn't: bring a first Founder's Cup in Halifax. --- Claiming 4 uncapped TPE ShawnGlade 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/56528-3rd-season-of-haligonian-hockey/ Share on other sites
