Finn Davison gets ready for start

Finn Davison has spent his time on the bench for the first part of this season. He is sitting behind Rhett Stoffiday, a fellow goaltender that was drafted a year before him and was in the VHLM last season. We did have a chance to catch up with the United Kingdom Goaltender, this is what he had to say.

"I knew I was going to spend my rookie season on the bench for the most part. I am not upset at all, I knew it was coming. I knew coming in that I was going to have to battle for my spot in the net, that is exactly what I am going to do. Rhett [Stoffiday] is a fantastic goaltender, there is no doubt about that. I really enjoy working with him and learning from him. There is a lot of work to do to get in net, but I will wait my time, I will get there."

 

It is still not known how much time in net Finn will get this season or even seasons moving forward. All we do know is that Finn has patience to wait out his chance and prove that he deserves to be standing in the middle of the pipes. Tune in to see how he does!
