Bonzaijoe 74
The VHL draft is an exciting time, when players go from the little leagues to the big ones, but sometimes for one-and-done players, the move can be stressful. Joe Nixon of the Vancouver Wolves, a new draftee in the big leagues, just had to make that new move again. "I was just getting settled into Vegas, but that's just how the league is. I was smart to only get an apartment, even though I didn't anticipate having to make a big move this quickly!" Nixon said in an interview with us today, "I absolutely love the city of Vancouver and the place is absolutely beautiful. I'm sure I'll get settled in no time at all. It's just weird to have made the moves basically back to back!" We asked Nixon to compare the two cities and he replied, "Obviously, nightlife. Vegas is Vegas and we know how that goes. One similarity, though, is their love for hockey. Both towns live and breathe this sport just as much as the players do and that is just so insanely cool to me. With this city behind me, I can play just as well as I did in Vegas, if not better! I want to help try to bring a cup to this town! The first step, though, is to unpack these boxes and get to practice haha" Beaviss 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/58854-making-the-move-again/ Share on other sites
