We caught Mikko between the flight to Las Vegas, to play vs the Aces, here's what he had to say.

"You know, our start hasn't been the greatest, actually nowhere near that, but we're focused and dedicated to turn things around, we're still full of energy and positivity and we still believe in making anything possible."

On his personal stats
"Yeah, I'm feeling great so far, I like the guys I'm playing with, [they're] setting me up with some beautiful passes and all I have to do is really just notch the puck in the net, but in all seriousness I like the people we have here, everyone likes each other and I think that's easily seen on the ice."
 

"I'm all for us winning at the moment, however there have been talks in the case that if we aren't doing that well come the deadline, if there is interest, some of us might get moved, I personally am open to anything, of course I love playing in Philadelphia and the crowd here is amazing and my teammates are pretty much the best I could get, but I'm always ready to start a new chapter elsewhere, in the end I'm here to play hockey and get that trophy.

We heard rumors that once you wanted to become a d'man, could you clear up this rumor?
"Haha, I've no idea where you guys have heard this but yes there was a point where I almost committed to being a d'man, the opportunity was there but I didn't use it, maybe in the future.... who knows, so far in enjoying sniping pucks in the net.
