InstantRockstar 1,243
Being from Ireland, Denver Wolfe has never had the international platform to ever compete for his country. He's always been left out of every type of major international event for that very reason, there just is not a lot of Irish-born native players to actually make up an Irish team, but when he got the call from his agent that he'd been asked to be a part of Team Europe, his whole perspective on the way the game is changing made him feel very good in the present moment and for the future. He had this to say; It's an honor and a privilage to be selected for competitive international hockey. It's been a dream of mine since I was a wee lad and I love just being out there with all the other top talents trying to do our country proud. It feels good as well to be one of the first Irish-born players to be selected for such an achievement, and I feel like moving forward this will help other people who have yet to get the experience, finally get their shot. Hopefully this will also bring some other international players over to the league, because of how accepting and multi-cultural the VHL and VHLM truly are. Such a special moment for myself and my family. No further comments came from Goonie, his agent, or Wolfe himself. We could tell he was truly blessed and happy with the decision, and we will see soon enough how his performance is.
