Pat Svoboda Falls Below Point Per Game Mark

After a blazing start to the year, Pat Svoboda's production has tapered off, and he now sits with 51 points in 54 games. While he is no longer at or above a point per game pace, he has still shown marked improvement and could still hit the 80 points mark, often considered the bar for anyone considered a key producer in the VHL. Some of it may be playing with another sniper in Rylan Peace; having a passing forward on Davos to pair with Svoboda and Peace would probably help, as both play the same sort of game and therefore don't want to divert the puck to each other. Chemistry is paramount in racking up points as a line, and that may be something to look into and experiment with in the future. Davos has started mixing up the lines to try to kickstart the offense again; if Svoboda can find his game again, it'll be very helpful to the team. Right now, Elias Dahlberg and Rylan Peace are carrying the team with over 70 points each, but the two could use a little more help. Lacking depth in defense, Davos' only hope to make the climb up the standings is to overload the opposition with offense and shot opportunities. Peppering the net with shots and aggressively forechecking are the primary ways to keep a team hemmed in their own zone, and in that regard, Svoboda has been checking all the boxes. If his shooting percentage rebounds, that will start to manifest in stats again.
