Dil lay lifeless on the ground, a stream of shit brown blood flowing from his head. Marvin was horrified at the sight. Nykonax the pebble presented himself to our hero.

 

"What the hell did you do that for?!" Marvin exclaimed.

 

"He turned me into this pebble months ago! I've just been stuck here, constantly rock hard, plotting my revenge. I was sure if I killed the thing that turned me into this I'd morph back to my natural attack helicopter form, but it doesn't seem as if..." Nykonax paused at the realization that his actions were fruitless, and the fact that he killed the only man capable of turning him back. He began to sob weakly.

 

I'm finally free from my painful existence! Dil's voice exclaimed. Marvin looked around some, stunned to hear the voice of his newly fallen friend. I'm in your head, Marv, Dil croaked. Marvin was as shocked about the telepathy as he was relieved that Dil's voice wasn't pitching at its previous shrill inflection.

 

As I was saying, Pennypenny has seven guardians that he has projected his evil onto, Dil pontificated. The longer they have been under his control, the more powerful they become. You've met the one that was intended to become the eighth guardian, Cyclops Jackson, but he was somehow able to resist giving up full control, and so Pennypenny grew bored of him and unleashed him on the village.

 

In your current state, you would be killed instantly by any of the guardians. You must develop the power that lies dormant within you, my sweet bitch. Dil paused to croak.

 

"Well how am I supposed to do that?" Marvin replied aloud.

 

"What?" Nykonax the pebble replied.

 

Whereas the pebble is a pebble forever, there is someone who can help you whose transformation at my hands will have been reversed with my death, Dil responded. You will find him if you return to the village.

 

"Hey, don't ignore me! You've seen what I can do you little bi-" Nykonax threatened before being picked up by Marvin.

 

"Alright, I'm gonna be heading out now, and I'll take you with me little guy," Marvin said to the pebble.

 

"I'll finally be able to finish college!" Nykonax exclaimed with pure glee.

 

Marvin set out from the hut, seeing that it was just a short bridge walk away from that guy in the armor that totally owned him before. He was anticipating trouble with the man, but was able to shuffle slowly past him with no movement from the bridge's guardian. With that, Marvin set out through the forest.

 

"Hey man, you're going on a journey, aren't you?" Nykonax asked. "I'm from South Gonza. Just go to Gonza and head south. Take me there, I miss my friend."

 

"Sure thing," Marvin responded, before looking around and seeing a cliff to his left. He grabbed Nykonax from his satchel and tossed him as hard as he could straight down the cliff.

 

"NOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo..." Nykonax echoed as he fell into his rocky hell.
