You should have received a PM with some more detailed information, but to get started quickly you will want to head over to the "How to Create a Player" topic. That topic will offer you detailed information about how to use the VHL Portal to create your player and get you started. We also highly recommend joining the VHL Discord where there is a channel dedicated to helping new members with any questions that they may have about the league or improving their player.

 

Once your player is made VHLM General Managers will be in touch with you about joining their teams. In the meantime, please feel free to ask any questions you have here or in your create-a-player thread. We're happy to have you in the community and we hope you stick around!

Not many people around still from the old days, that would have been only our second year running at most. What was your username back then?

Looking through past emails I signed up Feb 7, 2008. From what I remember I think I played on Riga?

Not 100% sure on the team as all the old emails link back to the old invisionfree forums

Your username looks vaguely familiar but it ha been 11 years so my memory from back then is iffy at best haha. We’re actually two forums removed from that one. We had our IF topics deleting themselves because we literally ran out of server space so we bought a hosted server and were on that for a few years before someone DDOSed is and we wound up here. Been a hell of a journey.

 

Good to have old members back always though, interesting to see people from way back in the day.

I think your name seems very familiar as well, I might have played on one of your teams back then? I think I was a goalie for Riga? but not sure, was so long ago but looking forward to the new VHL!

I’ve been going by this name since around S6 so it would make sense. I don’t recall if I ever played on riga back in the day but my account name was also my player name so it would have been easy to spot.
