Halifax, N.S -  Halifax players were astonished after their second straight loss at home to the surging Minnesota Storm. The team just gave up too many scoring chances in the last two games and were not tight enough on the defensive end. In their latest loss the 21st gave up too many high danger chances for the Storm to capitalize on. The team also gave up 8 penalties on the night which ended up costing them because three of Minnesota’s goals came on the man advantage. Halifax also struggled immensely on winning faceoffs losing 42 and winning only 35. Halifax also struggled when shutting down the oppositions first line with Minnesota left wing Shane Mars potting two goals in just a single minute of the third period. Minnesota’s second pairing defenceman Aron Sundell scored a goal and added two helpers for the win. Halifax hope to have a strong outing back in Minnesota for game 5 and will look to hopefully shut the opponents down.
