I felt very homesick during my brief time as a member of the Ottawa Lynx, and going home for the VHLM Dispersal Draft was nice. I got to see all of my family and friends again, and it was really calming. It was also helpful for my confidence. Knowing that everyone was rooting for me to succeed boosted my confidence and let me play the way I wanted to. So going back for the VHL draft is going to be fun. I get to visit my parents. I’ll be able to see my old soccer teammates. And of course, we’ll throw another rager after I get drafted in the first round! I can’t wait for the draft, and since I get to spectate it back home (bar me being forced to attend), I’m even more ready. The VHL better be ready, cause I’ll be coming in fast.
