Scott Greene was drafted to the Mississauga Hounds as part of the VHLM expansion draft. A new player in the league, Scott is determined to help the Hounds go all the way and win the finals this year. Scott is a skilled player who is very passionate about the sport and a caring, kind presence in the locker room. Playing as 97 while in Richmond, he has since switched his number to 42 in honor of his father, Doug, who wore the same number in his local career.

Strengths

Scoring

Scott is a very reliable scorer, able to find either the way to the net and make sure that he. He does everything to make sure the puck goes in. His offensive senses earned him plenty of praise in his pre-VHLM career for the Richmond Generals, leading the team in goals and taking the team to the finals 3 years in a row on their run to the local championships with the strength of his scoring ability. With a drive to prove himself on the ice, Scott shows an incredible skill for scoring and there's no reason to think that he will stop anytime soon.

Faceoffs

Scott has worked very hard to make sure that he is not only good at scoring, but also securing the puck for his team for as much time as possible to make sure they can rack up points. Scott's skill in the faceoff circle has earned him acclaim from his Virginia peers, reliably securing the puck on the draw for his teammates. Once he secured it for his team, his focus moves to moving into the zone with his teammates and putting pucks at the net.

Skating

Scott has spent much of his time practicing his skating, which has made him a very fast and agile player on the ice. His speed makes his forecheck very aggressive, putting him in dangerous positions for the other team. Gifted with natural endurance, Scott can skate at top speed or close to top speed for all three periods and overtime, making him a dangerously consistent threat across the rink. This also allows him to help the defensemen and cover when the team needs another person on the defense.

Weaknesses

Fighting

Scott is aggressive in his play, but is a natural kind and caring person, and has never enjoyed a fight. As such, he has tried to and managed to avoid them his entire career. Scott would prefer never to be the kind of person to raise his hands against somebody, and will go far out of his way to make sure that it never happens. What happens in the game, he thinks, should be settled by playing the game, not fighting. He is not a fighter and doesn't have much experience in it or preference to it.

Leadership

Scott is the kind of player who likes to be told what is needed and goes out there to achieve that goal. He is a timid and quiet person who prefers to use his skills to support the current goal; he doesn't like leading the team or making decisions. Scott is a team player, and is not for any power of his own. He simply wants the team to succeed. He is not the person to be called upon to make clutch decisions or the type to ever be a team captain.

Penalty Shot

Scott plays his best hockey in 5 on 5 scenarios. Penalty shots are not something he has practiced extensively, and he's never had to take a penalty shot in his career, so he won't be reliable in this type of scenario. Scott prefers to play with his teammates on the ice, and suffers for it in 1 on 1 scenarios.
