Gone Fishing

DAVOS, SWITZERLAND -- Sometimes the best way to reset your mind is to leave electronics behind. Leave the sweaty teenagers playing virtual reality at the arcades, or the keyboard warriors arguing over who's more lame on a YouTube comment section, and certainly leave the toxicity behind - the screaming kids in any first person shooter, or the trolls that enjoy pissing people off so they can wank themselves off in the washroom. it's not welcomed in nature, and for a moment your little area of the world where telling people to fuck off is a national past time. Head out for a camping trip with your family - or in this sense - go catch some fish (providing you have the proper licensing) and enjoy the beauty before your eyes.

Enjoy the sun set. Find a spot where you can lay down and watch the sun fade to stars on the horizon, preferably next to a running stream, and allow yourself to fade away to the sounds of nature. Wake up and watch the sun rise and enjoy a fire as you boil a pot of water over open flame before dumping it into bowls of oatmeal. If you're a hipster kinda fellow, you can even get them with little dinosaur eggs that you mom bought for you when you were young, we don't tell anyone.

That's what Peace is doing on the onset of Davos' training camp - and to a lesser extend - the VHL Entry Draft. He's left everything behind and went fishing, camping with friends and family, and perhaps even head to the theaters to view the newly released Avengers: Endgame. Enjoy the little things before life sucks the fun out of everything, and you have to go back to your day jobs just to make a living. Every once in a while it's okay to pin that sign said 'Gone Fishing' up on notice boards and abandon your roles for a few days.

Reset.

Come back refreshed.
