TheLastOlympian07 2,388
The Vancouver Wolves are currently sitting tops in the North American Conference with 8 wins and 6 losses which is good enough for 16 points which is 2 and 4 points ahead of the 2nd and 3rd place. It's interesting as the Wolves wouldn't even qualify for the playoffs if they were apart of the European Conference as the Malmo Nighthawks sit in 3rd with 19 points. It is has been a interesting start to the season for all the VHL. Except the Moscow Menace still are in last place with 7 points. They aren't interesting at all. Shawnomir Jagr hasn't had the best start to his career with 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points 13 games. This is good enough for last place on the team behind even teammate Hans Gruber who plays 9 less minutes per game than him. There is still a lot of time for the rookie to put it together as the 10th place rookie on the top 10 scoring leaderboard only has 10 points. However, I hope he picks it up soon or else this would be a lost season personally but Jagr is happy to be in first place with the team rather than stuck on a last place team like the Menace who's GM had some strong words against Shawnomir. He recently said "you couldn't pay me to trade for that guy". Jagr is out to prove that guy wrong and all the other GM's who passed over him.
