Being consistent and focused are the foundation of defenseman Guy LeGrande of the Halifax 21st team. He is known as a “Blue Collar” worker that puts in the time in practice to become better in his chosen position. He doesn't expect any sort of spotlight or highlight reels of him, but he does what he loves to do, keep the puck out of his own net.

Working with teammates has helped his game as the chemistry is apparent. He wants to be counted on in critical moments in games and he has shown the ability to play the game in an honest way. Hard working shutdown defenseman are always welcome in any league and Guy knows what it will take to leave his mark in the league when his career is over. He is very devoted to the game and his team.

Guy got his first goal of the season in his last game and when asked about how he felt about how scoring his first goal felt, he replied, “ Keeping pucks out of our net is my job, anything else is just icing on the cake”.

With the proper fortitude and willingness to work towards his career goals, I see a bright future for the “Blue Collar” defenseman Guy LeGrande.
