jRuutu 2,464
Everybody knows Rauno Palo as the talented hockey player, not much is known about him as a person and as a individual off the ice. Turns out he is a real thinker and a sensitive guy, evidence of that can been seen in his new poetry book: If only I could play with myself on the ice. Who knew he was even writing a book? Not many hockey players do anything like that while they still play hockey professionally. The book is full of short and longer poems and also stories that help to lift cover on the Rauno Palo mystery. Since it´s summer soon, I thought I post one of his poems that has a summer feel to it, part one of longer poem, Rauno gave me a permission to share it, so here it comes: Water is wet, sun is bright I was running, flying a kite Hit my toe, what the fock I look down, It´s a frog I pick it up, looks not so good frog needs a rest, I put him in my vest What does it all mean, what happens next? Nobody knows, but if you are interested in reading more - you can find the book on Amazon.com!
