Bud Knight declares for VHLM draft

I couldn't believe it the first time I heard about it. Earlier this afternoon Bud Light released a statement that their very own Bud Knight has secretly been training for the Season 67 Victory Hockey League Minors Draft.

 

During an interview, President and CEO Michel Doukeris was ecstatic. He expressed that "it is an honor and privilege to unite world class hockey with our world class alcoholic beverage. We can't wait to see him battling on the ice, and I plan on hosting a draft party at our headquarters in St. Louis. Hopefully we won't be too drunk by the time he is selected." When asked how Bud Knight will fit into his gear, he said "we're currently working on a state of the art set of gear to fit over his armor. We'll provide updates on its status later."

 

With the league already growing in popularity each year, this will help it continue to trend in that direction by reaching out to an even larger market. When people think of Bud Light they will now think of the Victory Hockey League. Analysts estimate that the average viewership per game should increase by nearly quadruple. 

 

I attempted to followup with Bud Knight, but he was unable to answer questions at the time because he was drinking.
