Palo: I want to score all the goals

I´m standing here with Rauno Palo of the Vancouver Wolves, Rauno: 58 games and 32 goals, does scoring this often make it feel less fun?

RP: That is assuming I get a kick out of scoring goals, to answer the question - I don´t know. I score when I want, I could have 60 goals now. Is that a realistic thing to say? Who knows, but what I can is that I keep on firing and the goals keep coming.

 

If you don´t get a kick out of scoring a goal - what motivates you to play on such a high level?

RP: Maybe not getting a kick out of it is bit wrong way to look at it, but I do like the fact that whenever I score a goal - nobody else scored, you know? My success is away from other players and their success, that makes me feel good.

 

How many goals do you think you will score during the remainder of the season?

RP: Tough to say, even impossible. Like asking how wet will you get when it rains - going to be wet. The same thing with me and scoring goals, going to score goals. I want to score all the goals.
