Micheal Gary Scott had a strong regular season as a King. First let's take a look where he lies on his team, and in the VHLM,  in some basic stats:

  • 1st in goals with 42; 7th overall VHLM
  • 4th in assists with 42; 35th overall VHLM
  • 2nd in points with 84; 17th overall VHLM
  • 1st in shooting % with 17.36; 9th overall VHLM
  • 1st in PP goals with 11; tied 11th VHLM
  • 1st in PP assists with 21; tied 7th VHLM
  •  1st in PP points with 32; tied 6th VHLM
  • 1st in P/20 with 0.96; tied 19th VHLM

Now looking at some unique stats in the VHLM:

  • 8th among RW with 84 points; although he played C most of the year (where he would have been the 4th best VHLM centre)
  • 3rd in the VHLM in GWG (one behind the leader)
  • 10th in the VHLM with 2 hat-tricks throughout the season
  • Was named 1st star of the game 9 time; 2nd star 9 times; 3rd star 6 times
  • Was 52.6% in the face-off dot

MGS started slow as a fresh rookie at the beginning of the season. He was named captain shortly after and climbed the ranks of the VHLM helping put Mexico City on the map as the best expansion team in the VHLM. MGS has increased his productivity by a long margin since the last half of the season. He is a key piece when they face Saskatoon in the first round of the playoffs. He needs to show up each and every game and help his team through more adversity.
