Peace 1,562
DAVOS, SWITZERLAND - The HC Davos Dynamo - lead by Rylan Peace's six points - have successfully swept the Reign after posting a poor regular season record against their European contemporaries, and while it was a thrilling series, many would argue that it concluded far too early and for the wrong team. In recent memory this can be looked at similarly to the Tampa Bay Lightning's collapse to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round of the NHL playoffs, and it feels like it has a similar atmosphere. While Riga GM Hedge quietly accepted his team was golfing, his adversarial GM cheered internally as the Swiss hockey club completed their sweep. Rylan Peace was immediately available after the fateful game four on home ice, where Peace recorded an assist to the game winning goal scored by Katie Warren. "It's pretty special," Peace admits. "To come into a series expected defeat and pull off a sweep? I'll take it every day of the week, and to do it against my former team means a little more now." Rylan Peace split his stats with three goals and three assists through the first four games and is tied for points with former Dynamo defensemen Shawn Glade, ironically also the general manager of the HC Davos Dynamo, who had added himself to the roster prior to trading himself to Vancouver. "I'm not going to pretend to understand that one," Peace stated while brushing away the question with his hand. "Harding has been a nice addition to the team, seems to fit in better, so I'm starting to see the ideals behind the move and that's all I'll say."
