" In the heart of Russia, lives a flame once denied." Is the motto plastered on a South Eastern Canadian billboard. A picture of a young skater blacked out with a painted flame in place of his heart. It's very clear what the advert is trying to convey. The junior players who have been turned down by the NHL have the chance to follow their dream. The VHL welcomes everyone. Young stars, old Veterans, foreigners, and many more have been welcomed to hockey's worldwide league. Moscow is intending to lead the charge this year in recruitment. Hoping that young stars will seek the snowy pastures of Russia where the Menace have grown a loyal fanbase. Hopefully the recruitment with lead to a long reign for the VHL.
