After a short stay in the VHLM ranks in the State of Minnesota, Wolf Stansson, Jr. is back home in Iceland now. His stay in Minnesota did not last very long as the Storm were swept soundly by the #1 seeded Philadelphia Reapers in the first round. He's been seen playing alongside some of his fellow Team Iceland Junior Goodwill games teammates.

This was quite the culture shock to say the very least - coming from a small, friendly country in Iceland to the hustle 'n grind country that is the United States just to play hockey. Traveling all over the country, crossing international borders to play in weird-looking, climate-friendly towns like Mexico City to Saskatoon to San Diego and back to Minnesota... you can imagine it can wear on an international player such as WSJ after a life of playing in friendly confines that is Iceland.

WSJ put together a respectable debut season, rapidly working up the ranks to earn first-line defense minutes by the time that the postseason rolled around. As of right now, WSJ appears to be the fourth-highest ranked prospect in the Live S68 Draft Class, despite the short-period of time he's been in the States. The ceiling is certainly high for this prospect as he has shown signs of improvement in terms of his skating, strength, puck handling to go on top of his prized defensive talents. It remains unknown whether or not WSJ will return to the VHLM next season as he has made it known that he would not play for certain teams - but he's gonna be working hard in the offseason back on his familiar home rinks.

We can only want and see what's next in the Wolf Stansson Jr.'s story.
