Vancouver won game seven against Calgary and is heading into the finals! Helsinki Titans is there waiting for them, Titans was the only team to collect over 100 points during regular season, they had 113! Vancouver had 82 points - is Helsinki a favorite in the finals? This is what Rauno Palo had to say after the Calgary game earlier today:

No they are not, the regular season does not matter at this point, playoff games are completely different, every game is a massive battle where even the smallest mistake can be the difference maker, so teams naturally play differently and avoid making those mistakes, which automatically changes the game compared to regular season hockey.

I´m confident that Vancouver is going to play well and when we play well the results are going to be good. When we head towards the game one, we are the favorites. We have been playing tough games lately, Helsinki has not. That is a clear advantage to us.

Game one is played tomorrow in Helsinki, to make things interesting - the second game is also played in Helsinki, so remains to be seen what kind of hockey we see, take it easy at first or is one of the teams going to come in hot and hope to surprise the other one?
