TheLastOlympian07 2,388
Shawnomir Jagr is off to his first ever Continental Cup final which also happens to be in his first ever VHL season. He has had a struggle trying to prove his worth on the team with just 16 points in 72 games in the regular season and then now having scored 1 goal and assisting on 2 goals for 3 points in 13 games. This reminds me of his maiden season in the VHLM when he signed with the Las Vegas Aces and put up 0 points in 20 games plus a further 0 points in 10 playoffs games en route to him winning the Founders Cup. This time around, Jagr has produced a bit more lending a helping hand but still is hard to fathom putting up just 16 points in his rookie season. Should we look toward a future break out because after that goose egg, he was drafted to the Saskatoon Wild where Jagr would score 100 points in his draft year. Let's hope it turns out just a little different though as that breakout season saw the Wild miss the playoffs and Jagr doesn't want that to happen with the Wolves in his 2nd season but he does look forward to beating the favored Helsinki Titans in the finals.
