Devise 4,475
Malmo Nighthawks center Mikka Pajari recently spoke to media about his current success in the World Cup, and what he thinks about the Nighthawks heading into Season 67. Quote Yeah it's been a fun World Cup here with Team World. We were the top team in the Round Robin, I had 7 points in 10 games and I was feeling pretty confident out there. It's hard y'know because I'm really starting to feel my age but it's easy to forget that on a roster like this I'm more of a depth guy and I think where I'm at I'm one of the better depth guys. So it's nice to be surrounded by some more stars and lessen the load, gives me a break heading into next season. As for next season, Malmo made some good moves, we had a great draft. We brought in really good names, some good guys that have been fun to have in the locker room. I think a lot of people will sleep on us. Yeah our guys have some growing to do, but good success sometimes is all about team chemistry and we feel we have that in spades. The locker room has been loose, no pressure. We all know that at some point this franchise will be competing, we trust our GM and in Season 67 we are ready to live and die as a team. I think last seasons experience of getting a little humbled after a good start is a learning lesson for us, we know what it means to have momentum in the season and we need to keep it. I'm pretty pumped for the season to be honest, I think we have one of the deepest rosters in the league.
