Greg_Di 1,028
This week, Greg Eagles, took his first strides in his new arena. The Vancouver Wolfs opened up training camp earlier this week as the team got to practice for the first time since the draft. Eagles is hoping to come out of camp as the #1 starter for Vancouver but knows he will have competition from Clayton Park and Joe Nixon. The new draft pick looked good in net and fans were excited to see what he was capable of. " It has been a great few days at training camp, I think I played well and I am just here to try and help Vancouver out. Whether that is as starter or backup, that doesn't matter to me. I will be giving it 110% in training camp and the off-season" Said Eagles after today's camp. " It's my first year, so I don't expect to much playing time but hey, if it happens then it happens. I am hoping to impress my team-mates and the management here" With pre-season just around the corner, the Wolves GM will analyze the play of all the goalies before he has to make the tough decision of who will be the teams starter.
