Dilly Dilly 45
Credit to @Frozen Block for the idea. Small detail change from what Frozen wrote about. Here are the links to both of the articles he took the time to create: Instead of adding up all of the TPE, I will find the sum of the TPA for each player on every team. Yes, this may include inactive players, but it doesn't make that much of a difference on their chances this season. Contender Philadelphia Reapers 2,703 Players at 200 TPA = 4 Players 150-199 = 2 Players 100-149 = 8 Players 0-99 = 7 Minnesota Storm 2,104 Players at 200 TPA = 2 Players 150-199 = 2 Players 100-149 = 6 Players 0-99 = 9 Hopeful Ottawa Lynx 1,674 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 3 Players 100-149 = 2 Players 0-99 = 14 Halifax 21st 1,642 Players at 200 TPA = 1 Players 150-199 = 2 Players 100-149 = 5 Players 0-99 = 7 Yukon Rush 1,606 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 2 Players 100-149 = 5 Players 0-99 = 10 Houston Bulls 1,338 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 2 Players 100-149 = 4 Players 0-99 = 11 Saskatoon Wild 1,252 Players at 200 TPA = 1 Players 150-199 = 2 Players 100-149 = 3 Players 0-99 = 7 Rebuilder Las Vegas Aces 650 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 0 Players 100-149 = 2 Players 0-99 = 10 San Diego Marlins 575 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 0 Players 100-149 = 1 Players 0-99 = 11 Mississauga Hounds 555 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 0 Players 100-149 = 0 Players 0-99 = 11 Mexico City Kings 450 Players at 200 TPA = 0 Players 150-199 = 0 Players 100-149 = 0 Players 0-99 = 11 Truthfully, the Reapers are a whole step or two higher than the next closest team in Minnesota, but with some key trades or signings and tremendous growth, they could be challenged. Realistically, I don't see any of the hopeful teams standing a chance this season. They simply don't have the high end assets they need in order to compete in a playoff series against the top two contenders. They would have to pull of a miracle to make it work. I definitely see some of these teams leaning towards selling early, but teams like Ottawa or Halifax could and should be early buyers if they want to stand a chance this season. The rebuilding teams don't seem to be in any position to trade for better players, or many draft picks either. I have a hard time seeing most of them contending for the next couple season unless the GMs make uniquely successful decisions. diacope and Rayzor_7 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/65759-s67-preseason-vhlm-tpa-rankings/ Share on other sites
Dilly Dilly 45
In hindsight I should've made it TPA for 201+ and TPE for 0-200 because it kinda screwed up the rankings and general outlook for some teams.
