Instead of adding up all of the TPE, I will find the sum of the TPA for each player on every team. Yes, this may include inactive players, but it doesn't make that much of a difference on their chances this season.

Truthfully, the Reapers are a whole step or two higher than the next closest team in Minnesota, but with some key trades or signings and tremendous growth, they could be challenged. Realistically, I don't see any of the hopeful teams standing a chance this season. They simply don't have the high end assets they need in order to compete in a playoff series against the top two contenders. They would have to pull of a miracle to make it work. I definitely see some of these teams leaning towards selling early, but teams like Ottawa or Halifax could and should be early buyers if they want to stand a chance this season. The rebuilding teams don't seem to be in any position to trade for better players, or many draft picks either. I have a hard time seeing most of them contending for the next couple season unless the GMs make uniquely successful decisions.
