Cornholio 182
The 67th season of the VHLM is in the books. Yukon Rush have finished 47-15-10, good for 104 points and the 4th seed in the postseason. Icelandic giant defensive man Wolf Stansson, Jr. has made tremendous improvements from his previous season where he spent the last 10 games with the Minnesota Storm. While this was not a part of his original build, WSJ had to adapt in order to be of best help to his Yukon team. This flexibility trait will go a long way toward marketing himself as an attractive draft prospect to VHL General Managers. WSJ's strengths lies in his ability to make plays and contribute positively in his time on the rink. It also helps that he was a significant contributor to the VHLM's #1 ranked scoring defense. His upside is very bright and he is looking forward to making the next step to the bigs. "This was a great season for everybody involved. It was a long process but we got a lot accomplished, both personal- and team-wise. Now the long dance of the regular season is over... it's time to get down to business and finish what we started. It starts with Halifax and I have full confidence in our ability to advance. The postseason last year was a forgettable one for me as our Storm team got swept by Philadelphia in the first round. I plan on playing a little longer this time around." DizzyWithLogic 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/68155-wsj-on-first-full-vhlm-season/ Share on other sites
