After walking into the locker room, presumably high (Red eyes, reeled like dope) Alex Pearson gave his thoughts on being selected for team canada again at the world juniors.

Interviewer: “What’s it like to be one of the returnees for team Canada?”

AP: ”Its an honour, it really is, I get to play with a lot of players I’ve played before and have connections with a lot of the team, so it’s a really good opportunity for us to do well.”

interviewer: “Last year goaltending seemed to be the downfall, do you think Fang can shut the door this year”

AP:”Absolutely, there wasn’t a game last year on the Reapers where fang seemed off his game, he’s the most poised, composed Raging psychopath I have ever met”

Interviewer: “The tournament this year is in Montreal, what’s the one thing you’re most excited for about visiting”

AP: “The bagels, or the poutine, or maybe the really good weed...Or the weed then the food..in that order”

Interviewer: “Thanks for taking the time for this interview!”

AP : “This is an interview? I thought you were just some fan”  he said with a laugh as he walked away

Pearson was very effective at last year’s tournament and will likely battle lifelong teammate Scotty BigShotty for the top line Centre spot, whoever shows up more in practice will likely earn the spot

Canada will certainty have a challenge ahead of them this season, with many top competition like USA and Europe, it will be a fun tournament to watch for sure.
