TheLastOlympian07 2,388
Shawnomir Jagr has been slowly but surely improving each season he has played in the VHL. In his first season, Jagr scored 11 goals to go with a measly 5 assists for 17 points. This went along with 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points in the playoffs en route to the Finals where the Wolves were swept by Helsinki. So that was 21 points in 89 games, which is not much production. In Season number 2, Jagr improved to 10 goals and 31 points in the regular season plus 10 points in 18 playoff games for 41 points in 90 games. That is almost a point ever other game. Plus the Wolves won the Continental Cup which is quite the accomplishment for the Wolves franchise. This season, Jagr continues his assent with 22 goals and 42 points in 64 games which is more than his total career high last season. Maybe next year will be the full breakout we expect from Jagr or maybe it will be more of the same, just small improvements. However, I think so far, the 2nd round pick has more than lived up to expectations.
