After a 3 game winning streak for NY with 9 games remaining, but 9 pts behind the Toronto Legion. It seems a miracle at this point to make the playoff because of some lack of line management in the middle of the year. This is what A.Rodriguez, forward with the most pts for NY so far, has to say about this from an interview this afternoon:

A.Rodriguez: At the start of the year, me and Nethilla Dissanayake formed a dynamic duo. Getting a crap ton of pts from each other and Steve LeGrande was and still is an absolute monster with Lance Flower, they were unstoppable to get pts from each game. Unfortunately, Boris was struggling quite a bit and for some reason I got separated from my boy Nethilla (He was demoted to the second line with him). That led us to lose a couple of games and Boris was still struggling. After that there was some other changes, Boris got promoted while Nethilla was still on the second line and the dominant duo of Lance Flowers and Steve LeGrande got separated as well. That led us to even more Ls and the only positive things from those lines changes was to have Boris going. Now? We just won the last 3 games and you know why? Because Nethilla just got promoted again. Coincidence? I don't know, but we could have competed for the playoff if Nethilla wasn't demoted and stayed on the 2nd line all year long, but I guess drafting even more quality people is more important right now. It was really fun to play with D.Wilcox tho and I hope he wins ROTY.
