Team Asia who have been underdogs in the World Junior Championship are playing for the bronze medal. Many didn't expect them to get into the medal rounds but hard work from the players is giving the nation a chance.

Asia will play Team USA who Asia have beat twice in the preliminary rounds. Both by 1 goal.

" I think we have a good chance at a medal, that was our goal from day one. We have already beat them twice so I have faith our team will come up big and snag a medal for Asia " GM Greg said at early morning practice " Our lines have been clicking and we have been getting some great production from our guys, it will be a great game!"

Asia had an opportunity to advance to the Gold Medal game but unfortunately lost 5-1 to the tournament favorites, Team Canada. Team Asia could not match the skill on the Canadian team

" We tried our best but we were just overpowered, they have amazing players across all 4 lines. I am proud of my guys though, they have played well all tournament" Greg Continued as he wrapped up practice.
