rjfryman 1,120
Julius Freeman is just ok, or at least that is what his career will end up when it is all said and done. He is a winger who shoots the puck. He has a hard time creating his own shot and that is one of the biggest knocks against him. He needs good players around him for him to be good. He is no Thompson who can do it all and put up record numbers by himself. He will always be overshadowed by his teammates and he doesn't come up in the clutch. Look at his performance in the world cup. He did ok in the round-robin. He helped his team in the medal round but in the gold medal game he did nothing. He was lucky he just didn't cost his team the game. He is being passed up by a number of his draft class in skill and probably will never make up some of that ground. His biggest rival whom he worked so hard to be better than is now his teammate. Even worse he's his linemate. So even if Julius does something great to distinguish himself it will probably be by his old rival and he won't get the glory. He has a cup win but his teammates were great that season. He will have an ok career but anything more than that will probably not happen.
